Program name: Power Tab
Version number: .98 (Beta)
Operating system: Windows 95
System requirements: don't know... Slowest machine tested on has been a 486/66, all you
need to run it is the .exe file
Freeware/Shareware status: Freeware
Description: Guitar Tablature Authoring Tool. Tons of tab symbols, including bends,
hammer-ons, pull-offs, tremolo picking, tremolo bar dips, legato & shift slides, rhythm
slashes and most of the common music symbols used in tab (Coda, D.C. al Coda, etc). For
guitar or bass tabs. It also includes a beta version of a conversion utility to convert
.tab files off the net into the Power Tab format. (See Power Tab Conversion Utility in the
help file)

Send all replies back to blarsen@icis.on.ca using the
reply.txt file.
There's an important info concerning the program in the Help file under
the topic "index". Please read this first before running
the program.
To do this:
1) Run the Power Tab program
2) Select Help Topics menu item from the Help menu
3) From the list of topics under the "2 Click the index
entry you want, and then click Display", select "index".
Note: You should uninstall Power Tab Beta .97 first before installing Beta .98.
Errors
------
2 major errors that haven't been fixed:
1) Double-clicking on a Power Tab file doesn't open it.
2) Opening a file on the recent file list that doesn't exist = crash
